Touch Response Archery, 10x10, Adobe Illustrator   "Some people meditate, or practice the Zen of archery." Diane Ackerman, A Natural History of the Senses  pg. 88  I made this piece on adobe illustrator of an apple with an arrow struck through it. I came up with the idea for this piece when I heard "the Zen of archery." My mind immediately went to an archer shooting their arrow through an apple that's on someone's head. Image
A Few Of My Favorite Things 1. Stephen King Book: He is one of my favorite authors and Cujo is one of my favorite books. 2. Super Bad DVD: My parents gave me this movie when I was in middle school because it was one of my favorites, and still is.  3. Janis Joplin Cassette: My friends and I would go downtown often and look around tone vender, I got excited when I found this cassette and bought to play in my friends car (she had a really old car with a broken CD player).  4. Acrylic Paint/Paintbrushes: I love paintings on canvases with acrylic paint, I try to fit it in as much as I can when I have the free time.  5. Sharpie/Ink pen: I really enjoy line work and focus on it very much when I paint, so I included these items to represent that.

All of these pieces arranged together shows the proportion/scale of the objects he used in this piece.   https://adammilner.com/death/temporary-furniture Balance: In this work the artist arranged taxidermy birds in different sized display cases below vases filled with different flowers on top of the display cases. This piece shows asymmetrical balance because although there the objects are not all the same size or material, the arrangement of the boxes and flowers is asymmetrically balanced and therefore is unified to t...
